Founded in October 2024, Caretta Coffee Roasters was created by lifelong friends and coffee professionals Geo Patrik and Cristian Vergara.

So Why are we called Caretta? 

The Caretta — the loggerhead sea turtle — is Geo’s favourite animal. Known for its solitary journeys across vast oceans, it moves with quiet purpose and determination.

That sense of direction and resilience deeply resonates with Geo. His own journey has led him toward something he truly cares about: speciality coffee.

Caretta symbolises that path — a pursuit of excellence, patience, and craft. Today, Geo is building a coffee roastery with the ambition of becoming one of the best in the UK, and he invites you to be part of the journey.
