Our Story
Caretta Coffee was founded in 2024 by Geo Patrik. A barista and coffee trainer. Caretta – meaning loggerhead turtle – that being Geo’s favourite sea creature – he merged his two loves of the sea and speciality coffee to create a brand where he writes about his passion for coffee, news on the industry, recommends the best equipment to make great coffee from anywhere and creating a journey of ‘helping you brew happiness’ one day at a time. Geo wants to create a positive filled culture of speciality coffee is for and can be enjoyed by everybody no matter your background, upbringing or circumstances. We want to make a space where everyone can be involved, give their opinion and thrive to the best of their ability.
Geo is a passionate, driven coffee professional with big plans professionally and for Caretta. With future training programmes, stores and podcasts. He wants to help the world enjoy what he calls ‘happiness in a cup’ – COFFEE.
